Explanation Text I

Describe your ideal home and explain why you think it would be the perfect place to live.

My ideal home must be computerized. When I want to get in, the computerized door will scan my face and automatically let me in. This is to prevent robbers from breaking into the house and it is very convenient especially after a tired day in school, I will not bother to use the keys.

The most important thing in my ideal home is the rooms. It must have 5 rooms: A living room, a library, IT room, bedroom and the most important of all, the music room. The library will contain all the books I need for school projects. The IT room will let me surf the internet to check out the latest games to play. The music room is restricted to me only. This is to prevent my annoying sister to touch my precious CDs. The music room will also contain posters and CDs of pop stars I like.

Whenever I feel stressed, I can always take a stroll in the garden. There will be sweet-smelling flowers like Roses and Tulips. Fishes will swim in the clear green pond. Beside the garden, there will be a swimming pool. Whenever I get hungry after swimming, I can always fill my stomach with beverages as there is a beverage bar right beside the swimming pool.

My home is ideal because I can do what I want. Whenever I feel stressed, I can listen to pop songs in the music room, or take a stroll in the garden. If my teacher want me to do a project, I can always find the information at the computers of the IT room, or books from the library. When I realize I am out of shape, I can slim down by swimming in the swimming pool.

My ideal home is perfect, but it would not be without my family members to take care of me and bring me laughter.
